Tudor Event Services

So how do you begin? You should meet with the caterer before making a decision on a reception hall. Many halls require you to use their own caterer. A good caterer should provide you with a lot of information that you can work with over the next several months to a year or more to prepare for your special day.

A caterer can also help you work out a timeline to start working with for the entire day. Timing for the wedding day can have so many variables. The location of the church versus the reception area, the bridge in Grand Haven, receiving line versus greeting the guests and releasing them individually, seeing each other for pictures before the ceremony, riding around after the wedding… the list goes on.

Your arrival time at the reception is also a critical factor. Remember to be at least 15 minutes late for the reception, because the last thing you want to do is walk into a half empty hall because of latecomers.

Many special things can be done for your guests so they are comfortably anticipating your arrival. And when they do, wow! Everyone has anticipated your grand entrance. We work hard to plan this “WOW” effect.

You and your caterer should have a strong relationship of trust before your wedding day. No question is a dumb question and no request is too mundane or too big. Just ask the caterer! They should be there specifically to meet your needs.
